AND SO IT WAS, THE LAST DAY OF 2010

Hi Merit!
Today is officially the last day of 2010 in Australia. Sorry I haven't written here in a while, a lot has been going on these last weeks! I miss you heaps! And I wish I could celebrate the commencement of a new year with you, in person! But no worries! All is well.

Oh, and Christmas was GOOD, just like in the mission, literally, very spiritual and with LOTS of chocolate!

fui al mall y me meti a Rain Forest restaurant y resulta que me encontre a su rana pero un poquitin descuidada y subidita de peso jajaja como se malpasa eh?

hey: fui a una tienda enorme que no se comparan con las de UT de verdad y encontre muchos dulces y me acorde que ud me pidio que le llevara a comprar dulces y menciono mazapanes para su mama pues aqi los tiene (lol)

sabia que? en las fiestas de navidad tomamos en Mexico algo que llamamos ponche? es una bebida caliente que lleva fruta como caña,manzana,ciruela pasa,pasas, guava,piña,tejocotes,canela y azucar y se toma caliente para el frio tenia mucho que no lo tomaba y por tal merecia una foto no lo cree? ese dia cenamos muy rico, spaguetti y pollo enchilado y jamon ahumado pero la pregunta es si en El Salvador  o en Australia tienen alguna tradicion asi?

Merit esas fotos estan re chidas! Estuvo con las estrallas de Hollywood! I'm glad that you are wearing my favourite jacket! Al principio cuando supe que la avia olvidado en el carro del hermano me puse triste pero me alegra q hoy anda por todo Cali con usted!! Victoria's election day..

Hi Merit, hoy es dia de votaciones de gobierno de estado. Ayyyy, tengo un poco de flojera porque es Sábado y no quiero salir de mi cama todavía para ir a votar. Pero esta bien supongo, de tener la libertad de votar por un gobierno. Tener una voz en el asunto no? jeje.... gracias por poner las fotos de Finish!!! Se ve muy lindo!

Karina, que bueno tener la oportunidad de votar y que por medio de tu voto tu voz y opinion sean tomados en cuenta, aqui ya es la 1am y a penas voy a dormir,tengo mucho sueño y  me levanto temprano pues mañana parto para MN y llegare a las 9pm que loco no? son 8horas hare escala en SLC por casi una hora  la cosa es que son 2 horas de diferencia entre california y MN es decir que alla ahora son las 3am, bueno que tenga lindo dia de votaciones, que tenga un muy divertido y saludable fin de semana, tome muchas fotos y pronto pondre unas aqui para que las vea, la extraño,saludos a bombon

Where in the world are you?!

Hi Merit,
How are you?!!! I missed work today. Did you know that all those hours of lost sleep during the week actually add up and the body resents it! All day yesterday I had a lingering headache that was still with me this morning which in turn affected my overall well being. So I slept for 12 hours today and felt a lot better, and, my headache disappeared! So now I'm writing to you and and hoping you are safe and sound where ever you may be. Hope you like this picture of yourself, it's pretty cool!

Salt Lake City

Dear reader, I wanted an easy fun way to keep in touch with friends and share and exchange some of my travels and experiences. Facebook (the social network) was starting to make me feel a little virtually claustrophobic, I needed a space of my own to breath comfortably and where I could customise my "wall", you know, make it look the way I wanted it to look. So I had the grand idea of creating a blog that my friend, who lives on the other side of the world to me, and I could share. At first I thought of making it a mere means of long distance communication between us, but then I thought to share my and our happenings with you too.
The picture above was taken while I was visiting Salt Lake City, UT in October 2010. Here I am with Sister Hernandez who I worked with when I was an LDS full time missionary. If you ever get the chance to visit the USA or are living in the USA please make time to visit Temple Square in Salt Lake City. It's an amazing place, not only because of what there is to see but what can be felt as you tour the site. One of the spectacular buildings here is the Salt Lake City LDS Temple which took 40 years to build from 1853! Tours are available from 9am-9pm everyday of the week! They last for approximately one hour and there are many to choose from!
